The Geelong Philatelic Society is a not-for-profit club supporting stamp collectors in Geelong and the surrounding region for more than 90 years. Our members range from experienced philatelists to people just starting out, all united by a shared interest in stamps and postal history.
We meet twice a month, at two different venues, each with a slightly different focus. See our meetings page for more information. What’s happening at each meeting can be found on our Calendar page. Both venues offer plenty of parking and are fully accessible for people with disabilities.
At every meeting you’ll find sales sheets and social time to enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits. Across the year we also offer:
Mini Auctions at most meetings. Major Auctions two or three times a year.
Four Competitions - 1 page, 2 page, 6 page and 15 page competitions over 12 months.
Members regularly display parts of their stamp collection throughout the year.
Members are invited to bring items of a non-philatelic nature to a meeting.
A Philatelic Quiz is held each year.
Two dinners each year with the Geelong Numismatic Society.
